Last updated: June 6, 2026
This document is a plain-language template provided for general information only. It is not legal advice. Please review and adapt it with qualified legal counsel before relying on it.
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Monpetitor website and application (the “Service”) provided by Monpetitor (“we,” “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Monpetitor organizes and monitors publicly available ad-transparency data to help you track competitors’ advertising, identify long-running ads, receive alerts, and generate counter-ad concepts. We may modify, add, or remove features at any time.
3. Public ad-transparency data
The Service surfaces information from official, public ad-transparency sources (such as the Meta Ad Library and Google’s Ads Transparency Center). We do not access private accounts. Monpetitor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta or Google, and all third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. You are responsible for ensuring your use of competitive intelligence complies with applicable laws and any applicable third-party terms in your jurisdiction.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or compromise it, reselling or redistributing data in violation of applicable terms, using it for unlawful purposes, or reverse engineering it except as permitted by law.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Plans are month-to-month unless stated otherwise. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
7. Free plans and trials
We may offer free plans or trials. We may change or discontinue free offerings at any time. Features available on free tiers may be limited.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding third-party ad data and your own content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
9. AI-generated content
Counter-ad outputs and other AI-generated suggestions are provided to assist you and may be inaccurate or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring any content you publish complies with applicable laws, platform policies, and third-party rights.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will be complete or accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
